Google berencana meluncurkan Operating Sistem (OS) Google Chrome

Browser google chrome..? Yupz, saya yakin pasti temen-temen disini sudah mendownload dan menggunakannya. Namun, ada yang baru dari platform google chrome ini yaitu rencana google untuk meliris operating sistem atau OS google chrome. Sebuah kabar baru bagi para pemakai internet, dan juga jadi perbincangan hangat di berbagai blog karena ternyata Google berencana untuk masuk ke pasar operating sistem, seperti halnya Microsoft. Berdasarkan info dari situs resmi google, google chrome OS ini akan digratiskan karena merupakan open source. Sejak lama google memang merencanakan projectnya yang bernama Android dan akhirnya setelah project Android ini google akan segera meliris google chrome OS.

Kecepatan, kesederhanaan dan keamanan, sebagai ciri khas yang terdapat pada operating system google chrome ini menurut sumber blog google. Secara esensial, google chrome OS bertujuan untuk penyelesaian problem solving untuk aplikasi berbasis web. Google memang selalu memakai tema minimalis interface, untuk pemakai internet, dan aspek kecepatan.

Seperti kita ketahui untuk menginstall Microsoft Windows membutuhkan biaya yang besar untuk kita semua kalau harus membeli lisensi microsoft. Disini OS google chrome menawarkan operating sistem yang berbasis open source seperti halnya linux dan dikabarkan operating sistem ini akan digratiskan oleh google. Nah disini pertanyaannya bagaimanakah google membiayai project ini? Seperti pola pembiayaan google seperti biasa yaitu monetisasi dengan iklan. Google sepertinya akan menggratiskan operating sistem ini dan membiayainya dengan pola monetisasi iklan, walau belum tahu bentuknya apakah semacam adsense atau bagaimana?

Seperti yang kita ketahui, microsoft sedang mencoba pasar baru didunia search engine dengan meluncurkan situs www.bing.com yang sudah diluncurkan sejak beberapa waktu yang lalu, berdasarkan info yang saya baca dari situs compete.com, persen pemakai bing ini sudah naik mencapai angka 25%. Begitu juga google yang sedang mencoba pasar baru di dunia operating sistem dengan merancang OS google chrome. Sejauh ini google sudah melekat imagenya sebagai search engine begitupula microsoft yang begitu lekat imagenya dengan OS.

Situs google sendiri menyebutkan bahwa 30 juta orang tercatat menggunakan browser chrome sampai saat ini. Memang chrome sendiri menurut pendapat saya sangat cocok sekali dipakai apabila situsnya mengandung banyak javascript. Seperti halnya situs www.godaddy.com , pernah saya pakai opera browser sampai-sampai tidak muncul menu untuk custom domainnya. Rupanya setelah saya cek godaddy ini sangat banyak mengandung javascript sehingga akan muncul bila menggunakan google chrome.

Dikabarkan bahwa OS chrome akan berjalan pada sistem windowing linux kernel. Bagaimana kelanjutannya?? Ya kita tunggu saja perkembangan google chrome OS ini yang akan diliris oleh google.

Jogja Break dulu ah..

Halo apa kabar Jogja..apa kabar temen-temen dari Jogja? Asyik ya jogja.., mengingatkan saya waktu kuliah dulu walau dulu kuliah di Bandung tapi sebenernya mirip sekali kalo menurut saya antara Bandung dan Jogja itu. Terutama dari anak-anak mudanya dan tempat ngumpul anak-anak mudanya punya kreatifitas yang tinggi dan suka akan nilai seni. Seminggu ini karena mendapat tugas dari kantor makanya saya dari senin langsung cabut ke Jogja untuk mengikut pelatihan GIS di UNY. Walau harus meninggalkan keluarga kecil saya tapi ya langsung saja saya menuju sana, walau awalnya mau naik KA tapi karena liburan sekolah jadi jadwal kereta pada penuh. Ya mungkin untuk temen-temen di Jogja sepertinya hari ini macet-macetnya ya disana apalagi kereta pada penuh semua..

Beberapa temen-temen blogger dari Jogja yang pernah saya tau seperti Eko nurhuda, Tiyo avianto, Dipta Anandita, siapa lagi nih..? saya yakin masih banyak temen-temen blogger dari Jogja tapi belum sempet ketemu temen-temen blogger ini karena berhubung waktu yang sangat padat.. Berdasarkan pengamatan saya waktu browsing dengan IM2 di sekitar daerah UNY kalo siang memang lelet sekali ya.. padahal ketika saya liat ternyata di HP saya muncul symbol 3G .. alhasil jadinya internetan malem-malem ya cukup lumayan kalo internetan malem..





Kejutan juga diberikan oleh blogsvertise yang memberi job pada blog Indonesia ini yang sekitar $9 dan $10 yang diberikan pada hari senin dan selasa lewat email jadinya keteteran untuk bikin review tersebut. Padahal seperti yang saya baca pada email kedua saya dari blogsvertise tentang pending job yang harus diselesaikan dalam 5 hari karena sudah deadline.. begitu juga dengan pekerjaan ngebid job review lainnya seperti di sponsoredreviews jadi tidak bisa dilaksanakan karena takut tidak terselesaikan ..
